Stiemke has steadily developed into a versatile player for the Loyola Greyhounds, known for his scoring, defensive impact, and consistent improvement throughout his collegiate career.
2024–25 (Loyola MD)
During his sophomore season, Stiemke appeared in all 31 games for the Greyhounds, starting 11 contests. He ranked third on the team in scoring with 12.1 points per game and fourth in rebounds with 3.7 per outing. Stiemke led the squad in three-pointers made with 61 and shot 79 percent from the free-throw line. On defense, he paced the team with 32 blocks, averaging 1.0 per game, which ranked fourth in the Patriot League and 10th nationally among Division I players 6-foot-5 or shorter. Many of his blocks (24) came during the final 15 games of the season, including eight contests with two or more blocks.
Stiemke had multiple standout performances, including 19 points and four blocks at Boston University, 15 points with four steals and four three-pointers against Holy Cross at home, 17 points at Army West Point, and a career-high 25 points (with seven rebounds) in a win over Lehigh. He also contributed 19 points and seven boards at Holy Cross and 22 points at Mount St. Mary’s, earning Patriot League Player of the Week honors. Additional notable games included 15 points at Delaware State, 13 points versus VMI, 12 points with six rebounds at Boston College, and 15 points with three of five from three-point range at NJIT. He added 12 points in 16 minutes against Lancaster Bible and 10 points with three steals against Columbia.
2023–24 (Loyola MD)
Stiemke concluded his freshman season on a high note, scoring 12 or more points in five of the Greyhounds’ final seven regular-season games. He averaged 5.3 points per game overall and shot 41.4 percent from beyond the arc. In Patriot League contests, he posted 7.3 points per game, increasing to 12.4 points in the final seven games. Highlights included a 17-point effort with five three-pointers in a home win over Army West Point, a 12-point performance against Bucknell, and a career-best 23 points at Boston University. He followed with 18 points at Lafayette, going 6 of 11 from the floor and 3 of 5 from three, while also pulling down eight rebounds. Additional achievements included a 12-point outing against Colgate, clutch game-winning points at American with a layup and free throw in the final 1:17, and six points with six rebounds in that same game.
Stiemke made his first collegiate start against Holy Cross at home, finishing with five points and three rebounds in 18 minutes. He also scored six points, including two first-half three-pointers against Lehigh, added six points and three rebounds versus St. Mary’s, and went a perfect five-for-five from the free-throw line for five points against Mount St. Mary’s. He saw limited action in other games, including 13 minutes with two points and two rebounds against Sacred Heart, and scored one point with one rebound in his collegiate debut at Florida. He earned a spot on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
High School & Prep
Before joining Loyola, Stiemke graduated from C. Milton Wright High School in Bel Air, Maryland, and completed a prep year at Loomis Chaffee School in 2022–23. Across his high school and prep career, he averaged 15.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.7 steals, and 1.1 blocks per game. Stiemke scored over 1,000 points in three seasons at C. Milton Wright, earned All-Decade First Team honors, led the Mustangs to two Regional Championships, and was a two-time All-Harford County selection. He also competed for AAU teams Mid-Atlantic Select and the Harford Mustangs.
Personal
Stiemke was born on 03/30/2004 and is a military child who has lived in Korea, Germany, and several other locations across the U.S. He currently resides in Bel Air, Maryland. His parents are Monique (56) and Perry (52). He has five siblings: Eric (25), Bryan (23), Garrett (16), Corey (15), and Amara (13).
Hobbies include music, playing pool, video games, longboarding, and building with Legos. His favorite song is "Jungle" by HER, and his favorite artist is Tyler, the Creator. He enjoys watching the movie Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and the TV series The Boys. Stiemke is a fan of the Seattle Seahawks and Philadelphia Eagles, and looks up to Coach Rock and Coach Mario.
His pregame routine includes going up on the court as soon as possible with headphones to shoot around, then returning to get taped and put on his jersey, relaxing, meditating, listening to more music, and having a snack before heading back up with the team. Postgame, he drinks a protein shake, stretches, and texts his parents. Stiemke describes himself as different and expects to be great this year.
